The largest Seminar Involving medical Practitioners, engineers and entrepreneurs in 2023

World Sleep Day is regularly held in the Month of March every year around the world to bring awareness to the public about sleep related disorders and its treatments. 

In the year 2023, Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) shall host its first World Sleep day event whereby we bring together medical professionals, Engineers and Entrepreneurs to learn about Technology and how it affects sleep as a whole. 

Speakers from multidisciplines come to share about their respective expertise. Here we share how treatment of sleep related disorders is affected by technology around us. 

We would also encourage participants to take advantage of this event as it is a one of a kind of event that allows networking with other disciplines from various expertise in order to widen our perspective on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Dr Shaun Loh is a Consultant at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in Singapore General Hospital. His subspecialty interest is in the surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Apart from his experience in soft tissue and robotic surgery for OSA, Dr Loh also received cross training in orthognathic surgery during his fellowship in Changgung Memorial Hospital.
